MockForge is a native Windows desktop application for developers who need realistic test data without sending anything to the cloud. Define a schema field by field, choose a row count, preview the generated data live, and export it as JSON, CSV, or SQL INSERT statements ready to drop into a database, a fixtures file, or an API mock.

It supports 20 field types — names, emails, dates, UUIDs, IP addresses, enums with your own choices, auto-incrementing IDs, and more. Turn on a fixed seed and the same schema produces byte-identical rows every time, which suits deterministic fixtures and CI. Save schemas you reuse as named presets. Everything runs on your machine: no accounts, no network calls, and your presets stay in a local file.

  • Schema editor: add, remove, and reorder fields, each with a name, type, and contextual options, with a live preview table
  • 20 field types including full_name, email, int/float ranges, date/datetime, uuid, city, country, enum, increment_id, ip_address, and url
  • Export to JSON, CSV, or SQL INSERT statements, with SQL table names sanitised and the batch wrapped in BEGIN/COMMIT
