Xardas Courses is an offline course-planning and gradebook app for educators — from online course creators to classroom teachers and professors — who want to run a curriculum and a class without an account, a browser tab, or the cloud. Build each course as a nested outline of modules and lessons, reorder anything with move up / move down, and tag lessons as Video, Text, Quiz, Assignment, or your own custom types with optional durations. A live dashboard rolls your catalog into totals — courses, published count, lessons, and content hours — with a lessons-per-course chart, a content-type breakdown, and a Class Performance table showing the average and median final grade in every course, so you can see at a glance whether you're grading harshly and curve a class on overall performance.

It runs as a real installed Windows application, not a web app in a wrapper, and your data lives in a single local file you can optionally encrypt with a password. The built-in gradebook works one student at a time: pick a course and a student and record their grades element by element, with points-based or weighted-category grading (per-category weights, drop-lowest, extra credit, excused items, a manual final-grade override, and a configurable plus-minus letter scale), a live final percent, letter, and 4.0 GPA, and a class-statistics panel showing the class average, median, spread, and grade distribution. Every student gets a profile with a photo, bio, and up to three labeled contacts, and you can export or print a branded PDF transcript for one student or for everyone at once — alongside outline PDFs and CSV exports of your courses, curriculum, and class gradebook.
